The Inimitable City of Prague

Prague is the Capital of the Czech Republic. Praha (The city in Czech name) is popularly known as the pearl of Europe for its astounding beauty. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain thousands of foreigners visit the city each year, all of which surely don’t say goodbye to the city disappointed. If you investigate enough you will come across some of the attractions that have made this Bohemian city famous world wide. Prague was the ancient capital of Charles IV's Bohemian Kingdom and has had a vital part in the uplifting of Central Europe since the Middle Ages. A memorable history made Prague to be among the most attractive cities in the world and tourism has flourished and is one of the country’s chief money-spinners.

Tourism does not overrun Prague, but its impacts are clearly evident. Most of the regeneration and reconstruction of Prague in the post-communism period has been a result of strong tourism drive, and this has lead to ancient buildings being transformed into stylish hotels and exceptional restaurants.
